Established

The company's forerunner, Waikanae Engineering, produced the CamLock Quick Hitch in 1987, and so began a dynasty of unique attachment design and manufacture that continues today.

Innovative

Formed in 1994, Wedgelock Equipment Limited were soon designing and manufacturing successive Wedgelock Hydraulic Hitches for domestic and overseas markets

Patented Safety

First shipped in 2007, the I-Lock® Coupler incorporating the independent Instant Safety Knuckle raised the level of safety with quick couplers the world over.

Easy as 1 – 2

2019 saw the release of the tenX® Coupler, with its simple two-step attach and detach procedures, and easy fitment to compatible carrier machines. The very latest in over 30 years of development and innovation.

Wedgelock's Australian office is in Yatala, Brisbane, and from here, a range of popular stock is available for immediate shipment. From New Zealand's fully equipped manufacturing facility in Upper Hutt – not far from the nation's capital city of Wellington – shipments of couplers and buckets cross the Tasman to Brisbane every week. This is also the R&D and engineering centre for Wedgelock products manufactured through its global networks and partner programs.
